This is my 2d platformer project

Modifications:

Enemies: 

  • Added projectiles to some enemies 
  • Can Run on ceilings
  • Projectiles check direction facing and gravity of the enemy
  • Can track player

PowerUps:

  • FullHeal- Restores to full health 
  • Flip- Flips player gravity
  • Jump- Resets jump count giving 2 additional jumps
  • Added custom sprites for flip and jump

Controls:

  • Sprint- doubles player speed while held
  • Flip- ONLY ON LVL 3, flips player gravity

Environment:

  • Teleporter and a puzzle made with them 
  • Acid sprite fixed for inverted gravity
  • Boss in final level acts as a moving wall, killing the player if they're too slow
  • Added blocks that damage the player

Notable Issues:

  • Respawn on last Level is bugged,  changed max health and removed extra lives
  • Enemy shooting behavior gets messed up if pushed
