3D shooter project for MSU Game Design and Development 3
Changes:
MAJOR CHANGES
- New Controls
- New weapon
- New Enemies
New controls:
- Sprint- hold shift to sprint
- While sprinting the player cannot shoot, change weapons or use the flashlight, even when in the air
- Flashlight- Press f to toggle the light
- Has a limited battery but recharges overtime
Weapon Changes
- Bullet Drop
- Grenades and shotgun pellets now are affected by gravity
- Pistol
- Fire delay now .3s
- Now full auto
- Electrogun
- Fire delay increased to 1
- Shotgun
- Pellets increased to 40 and Spread increased
- Added slight bullet drop
- Bullet speed increased
- Range significantly decreased
- New Weapon- Grenades
- Set as the fourth weapon, grenades have strong damage, but will damage the player if too close
- Significant drop
- Does some DoT
- Set as the fourth weapon, grenades have strong damage, but will damage the player if too close
Enemies
- Explosive Flying enemy
- Now actually does damage
- Ground shooter enemy
- Now actually shoots
- Added new projectile for it
- Queen
- Now moves (Slowly)
- Doubled the queen's health
- Updated health bar to show updated health
- Spawns enemies while alive
- Added Stronger explosive Enemy
- Now does 3 damage
- Significantly faster and more health
- Made spawner
- Added 'Knight' Enemy (red)
- Weaker, melee version of the queen
- Moves are much quicker and erratic
- Made Spawner
- Added 'Bishop' Enemy (grey)
- Like a weaker queen
- Higher range, but doesn't move
- More health than knights
Pickups:
- Added 2 new pickups and added art for them
- Grenade ammo
- Spare battery- refills the flashlight's battery
Environment
- Made jump pads
Levels
- Level 1 is basic, similar to in the tutorial, but with an extra path
- Level 2 is a dark maze leading into an arena
- Level 3 is the boss fight. Player needs to kill the boss and escape before they are overwhelmed
